Biography

Bruce Hay is a Professor at Harvard Law School. He was educated at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Harvard Law School Prior to joining the faculty he clerked for Justice Scalia of the United States Supreme Court, and practiced law in Washington, DC, specializing in appellate litigation and regulatory matters. His teaching has included Civil Procedure, Contracts, Mass Torts and Complex Litigation, Environmental Law, Corporations, Professional Responsibility, and Insurance Law. His research interests are primarily in law and economics and decision theory, with applications to legal procedure, negotiation and dispute resolution, and the regulation and distribution of risk.
