Avlana Eisenberg's scholarship addresses the institutional incentives of criminal justice actors and the relationship between criminal legislation and the creation of social norms. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in Humanities from Yale College, and her J.D., with distinction, from Stanford Law School. After graduating from law school, she worked as a Pro Bono Fellow at the D.C. Public Defender Service and as a litigation associate at Jenner & Block LLP in Washington, D.C. Ms. Eisenberg also studied in Paris at L'Ecole Normale de Musique as a Fulbright Fellow, and she holds graduate degrees in Orchestral Conducting from the University of Michigan and the Peabody Institute.
