Practice Information

Mr. Carfagna counsels clients in the areas of litigation, government relations and complex business transactions. He also serves as a counselor to executives and board members on a wide range of issues. He served as chief legal officer/general counsel of IMG for over 10 years, during which time he led IMG's 20-plus attorney worldwide legal department. He also practiced for 15 years at Jones Day, most recently as a litigation partner. Mr. Carfagna began his tenure with Calfee in 2005.

Additional Information

Mr. Carfagna will teach Sports and the Law: Examining the Legal History and Evolution of America's Three "Major League" Sports: MLB, NFL, and NBA in the Fall Term 2009. He will teach Sports and the Law: Representing the Professional Athlete in the Winter Term 2010.
