Ms. Eisenberg will teach a section of First Year Legal Research and Writing in the Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 terms.
Avlana Eisenberg's primary research interests are in the fields of Criminal Law and Procedure, Civil Rights Law, and First Amendment Law. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in Humanities from Yale College, and her J.D., with distinction, from Stanford Law School. After graduation, she practiced as a litigation associate at Jenner & Block LLP in Washington, D.C., and as a Pro Bono Fellow at the D.C. Public Defender Service. Ms. Eisenberg also studied in Paris at L'Ecole Normale de Musique as a Fulbright Fellow, and she holds graduate degrees in Orchestral Conducting from the University of Michigan and the Peabody Institute.
