Library-wide Noise Alert

Please Be Advised:

On Tuesday, September 27^th
from 12 noon until 4 p.m.
there will be increased noise and traffic levels
in the Library.

Due to the Library's Open House, Love Your LibraryFest '05, there will be an increase in foot traffic, and concomitant noise levels, in certain areas of the library.

The Open House will run from 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27. During that time, the following areas of the library will be most strongly affected:

The Lemann Lounge
The Fishman Room (legal periodicals, level 2, north)
The Computer Classroom
The Special Collection Reading Room (level 4, south)
The south end of the Langdell Reading Room
The Reference Desk and Reference Room (level 4)
The ILS Reading Room (Lewis, level 2)

Those seeking quite areas for reading and study should avoid the above hot spots.

We apologize for the disruption. Rest assured, maintaining the Library as a location for quiet study remains our foremost priority. Due to the significance of this event to the library community, however, a rare exception was made in this case. Thank you for your patience as we host this exciting event!
