Updating New York State Regulations:
To ensure that your regulation is as up to date as possible, it is necessary to consult the New York State Register. Published weekly, it provides the text of newly proposed amendments which may affect current state agency rules. Interested parties are then given the opportunity to comment on the proposed amendment. The State Register is available online for free on the state web site from 2003 onward. Lexis and Westlaw also include this resource within their files, as well as some tracking databases, set forth below. Lexis and Westlaw also provide historical coverage of the New York Admininstrative Code, also set forth below.
