U.S. law sources. The Langdell reference department has collected links to sources of United States federal and state law. We have arranged the links using the broad categories: constitutional, legislative, executive, judicial and, for state local law, municipal:

International law sources. Locate international, comparative and non-U.S. jurisdiction law sources using the listing of Foreign & International Law Resources compiled by the HLS International Legal Studies librarians.
Locating additional law sources. Researchers may wish to consult the following for additional law sources useful to their research:
- Electronic Resources. Selective listings of electronic resources useful for legal, academic, historical and newspaper research.
- Data Resources. Selective listing of data resources useful for empirical legal research organized into six broad topical areas.
- Foreign & International Law Resources. Selective listing of international, comparative and non-U.S. jurisdiction law sources compiled by the HLS International Legal Studies librarians.
- Research Guides. Research guides prepared by HLS librarians on a variety of topics. Most guides include references to web, online and print law sources.
- E-Research @ Harvard Libraries. Comprehensive listing of electronic resources subscribed to by the Harvard University Library and available to the Harvard University community including dictionaries, encyclopedias, e-books, indexes, journal collections and other databases. Consult the Getting Started guide for an overview of E-Research services and features.
- Find E-Resources. Use to locate resources by title, by keyword, by subject and type or by browsing an alphabetical listing.
- Find E-Journals. Use to locate journals by title, by keyword or by ISSN. Includes individually licensed journals as well as journals available through a database.
- Citation Linker. Use to locate the full-text of an article by its citation or an electronic journal by its title.
