“State Full Text of Bills – Current Session” (STTEXT) is a combined database that provides unofficial full text bill coverage for all states from current legislative sessions. "State Bill Text, Combined Archive" (TXTARC) enables bill retrieval from all states from 1991 through current. “State Bill Text (Historical)” affords access to bills from all states by year dating from 1991 (TEXT91). The retrospective coverage of these databases is limited to selected states for the years before 1995. “Individual State Bill Text (Current)” contains bills pending in the current legislative sessions of individual states.“State Bill Tracking – Current Session” (STTRCK) allows tracking of pending bills in the current legislative sessions of all states. “State Bill Tracking (Historical)” allows combined state searches limited to legislative sessions ending in a specific year back to 1990 (TRCK90). “Individual State Bill Tracking (Current)” provides bill status information for the current legislative session of a particular state. There is also a “Combined State Bill Tracking & Bill Text (Current Session)” database for each every state. Use Get a Document to
access bills and bill tracking reports from individual states when the year of introduction and the bill number are known. Click the “Citation Formats” link in the Get by Citation box and then enter the name of
the state followed by "bills" in the Citation Format Assistant box to retrieve the appropriate fill-in
templates, which indicate the state's beginning date of coverage by LexisNexis.
