"In the past the Law School has never talked much about itself," wrote Dean Erwin N. Griswold ’28 S.J.D. ’29 when in 1948 he launched Issue Number 1 of the Bulletin, an eight-page, black-and-white newsletter with four small photos. "But there is much at the School that is worth publicizing."
Since those days when the School boasted 18,304 graduates, alumni ranks have swelled to over 30,000. The Bulletin has grown as well, to keep up with alumni activities and the momentum of the School. Volume 49, Issue Number 3 rolls of the press at Universal. Head pressman Bob Stuke displays the cover sheet.
