Staff within the Office of Communications are available to assistant Harvard Law School departments and programs to create promotional and marketing materials. Depending on the size and scope of a particular project, we can provide direct support—often in the form of writing and strategy—or refer you to outside vendors and consultants.
Before embarking on a new marketing initiative, it is important to carefully consider your goals and think about the primary audience you are trying to reach and persuade. The language, tone and appearance of a promotional piece directed at prospective students is likely to be very different from one directed at alumni. It is also important to consider different delivery options. Is a print brochure really the best approach? Would a video or other multimedia product be more effective? What's the best way to make the most of your budget?
Members of the HLS community interested in receiving assistance on an upcoming project should contact the Project Manager Julie Vakoc.
