International Opportunities

HLS students enjoy many opportunities to learn about international, foreign, and comparative law --- not only through the range of courses and events on campus, but through the first-hand experience of studying and working in other countries. Students can develop programs suited to individual needs, whether it be the year-long LLM at Cambridge University in England, a semester taking courses in Brazil, or a summer placement with a non-governmental organization in Africa.

HLS: Exploring the World of Law
In 2008-2009, hundreds of HLS students worked, studied, and conducted research around the globe through semester abroad, the University of Cambridge joint-degree program, winter term international travel grants, the Chayes Fellowship Program, the Human Rights Program, Summer Public Interest Funding, faculty-led courses, and student organizations.
