This invitation-only conference is designed to bring together the major research and policy players in child welfare to consider the latest and most meaningful research on race and the child welfare system, and to discuss the implications of this research for appropriate policy directions in the future. The general idea is to advance the best thinking on the issues, and to encourage rational application of the best research and understanding to guide policy.
This conference is by invitation only. To maximize the opportunity for meaningful dialogue, we are limiting the conference group to important stakeholders and others with key expertise including researchers, policy-makers, legislators, judges, legal and other academics, and child welfare administrators.
