Lecturer on Law
Scott Hirst is Associate Director of the Program on Institutional Investors and Co-Editor of the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation, as well as a Research Fellow at Harvard Law School. His research focuses on corporate governance and corporate transactions. Prior to joining Harvard Law School he practised for seven years in the mergers and acquisitions group of Shearman & Sterling LLP in New York. In addition to his position at Harvard Law School he serves as a consultant to a number of organizations, and as a director of two non-profit organizations. He is admitted in the State of New York, and holds a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School, and Bachelors of Laws and Commerce, each with first class honors, from the University of Queensland.
