Summer Scholarships for Human Rights Internships

In order to apply for summer funding from the Human Rights Program (which provides a stipend in addition to SPIF for those working in human rights-related jobs abroad for at least ten weeks over the summer), you must first meet with a Student Advisor, who will discuss your summer plans with you.  This is a prerequisite for applying for summer funding from the Human Rights Program.  Please use the Student Advisors as a resource; they are available to assist students who are looking for ideas as to places they might work over the summer as well as those who may have a more concrete idea of where they'd like to be.

The Human Rights Program's Student Advisors are:
  • Bradford Adams - badams@jd11.law.harvard.edu
  • Rebecca Agule - ragule@law.harvard.edu
  • Ben Hoffman - bhoffman@jd11.law.harvard.edu
  • Claret Vargas - cvargas@jd10.law.harvard.edu

The Student Advisors will be holding regular office hours in the HLS Advocates office, on the 4th Floor of Pound Hall just outside of Pound Hall 401. You are free to meet with any one of the Student Advisors you choose.  For your reference, below are listed Student Advisor office hours, and the areas in which the Student Advisors have some experience (either from working, living, interning, or applying) which may be of particular assistance to students looking for work in certain geographic regions.
