Honorary Fellows

The Islamic Legal Studies Program is proud to offer an affiliation of Honorary Fellow to exceptional scholars of Islamic law and distinguished former members of staff who have played an influential role in the Program's development.

An award of recognition for extraordinary service, the rare Honorary Fellow appointment has no remuneration or privileges attached to it. The Program hopes that its goals of furthering and deepening the understanding of Islamic law will benefit from a prolonged connection to its Honorary Fellows.

The first Honorary Fellow is Frank E. Vogel, ILSP's Founding Director (1991-2006), to whose foresight and drive the Program owes its existence and reputation.
