Rui Ma

Rui Ma is a PhD student in regional economics at Peking University in Beijing. Her current research is focused on left-behind children and the spouses of China’s rural migrants. She is also interested in rural land transfer in the unfolding of China’s urbanization process.

Rui Ma received her MA in agricultural economics at the Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy of the Chinese Academy of Science.  She completed her bachelor degree at the Central University of Finance and Economics.
