As the Administrative Director of the Labor and Worklife Program, Lorette oversees a range of activities including the monitoring and managing of all financial transactions, budget, and grants management. She contributes to the planning and implementation of the yearly six-week executive program and many other conferences and events of the program. She works closely with the Executive Director in matters pertaining to financial and strategic planning and serves as the principal administrative contact and liaison with other organizations, departments, students, and alumni. Lorette holds a Master of Education with a focus on Adult and Organizational Learning, a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management and in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University. She also acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a concentration in Health Management and Human Resources Management, and a certificate in Training and Development from Northeastern University. Lorette is currently a doctoral candidate in Education at Northeastern University in the field of Organizational Leadership and Communication. Her thesis focuses on the transfer of learning and learners’ responsibility in making sure that newly acquired skills and learning are being utilized in the workplace.Lorette is also a Certified Practitioner of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Personality Instrument.
Lorette is originally from Haiti and is fluent in French and Haitian Creole. She is a professional baker and cake decorator and loves to travel.
