Frances Kamm

Frances is the Littauer Professor of Philosophy and Public Policy at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, and also holds an appointment at the Harvard Faculty of Arts and Sciences as a member of the Department of Philosophy. During her tenure as a Senior Academic Research Fellow at the Petrie-Flom Center in 2007, she conducted research on nonconsequentialist normative ethical theory and topics in applied ethics, including bioethics and the distribution of scarce resources. She prepared a book-length manuscript and articles in this field, and presented her work in several venues including the Health Law Policy and Bioethics Workshop while affiliated with the Center.
