SYMPOSIA FOR LEADERS IN INTERNATIONAL FINANCE

In 1998, PIFS organized the first annual symposium to foster a global dialogue on improving the international financial system of the 21st Century. The symposium focused on contemporary issues affecting the financial relationship between Japan and the U.S. As a result of the continued success of the Japan-U.S. dialogue, in 2002 PIFS organized another annual symposium to focus on the dynamics of the international financial relationship between Europe and the U.S., and in 2004 PIFS held the inaugural China-U.S. Symposium.
