Abstract
As Ellen Harvey, partner at global accounting giant Bright & Wolff, reflects on how she has developed a successful practice at the firm, she recalls how much of her success is due to the to the mentoring she had received from her senior partner Tom Barrow.
The case study allows participants to discuss the centrality of professionals’ development to organizational performance in professional service firms (PSFs), components of effective mentoring, and ways in which PSFs can encourage senior professionals to mentor their junior colleagues.
