This marquee conference will inform and extend the critical dialogue begun last year in New Delhi with respect to our multidisciplinary global research collaboration on Globalization, Lawyers, and Emerging Economies. This unprecedented research initiative brings together leading scholars, policymakers and practitioners from around the world to examine how economic liberalization and other forces of globalization are reshaping the corporate legal profession in important emerging economies such as India, China, and Brazil—and how these changes are in turn reshaping legal education, the delivery of legal services, and the rule of law.
