In his research supported by a PLP Harman Public Interest Grant, Damjan Kukovec explores the unexamined consciousness of the EU legal profession, conducting an examination of EU lawyers’ background assumptions to find out what they see as problems to be solved and what they may be missing. Damjan also investigates the legal profession’s role in the EU’s structure and operation not as a coalition of sector-specific experts, but rather as a special science of government with a cross-sectoral knowledge.
