HLS Program on the Legal Profession
Hakim A. Lakhdar is the Program Manager of the Program on the Legal Profession at Harvard Law School. He joined Harvard Law in March 2010 to provide support in advancing the initiatives and goals of the Program both within and outside of Harvard University.
After receiving his MA from Indiana University in 2005, Hakim held positions in elementary education and later in recruitment and international support for international development programs. Prior to joining Harvard Law School, Hakim managed and developed international legal reform programs in Central Asia for the American Bar Association’s Rule of Law Initiative in Washington, D.C. He’s traveled to Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey and Eastern Europe to address and discuss the need for a more comprehensive approach to legal profession reform in the US and abroad.
