Albert P. Parker, II

Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Albert “Al” P. Parker, II joined Sunovion in February of 2013 as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Mr. Parker is responsible for providing executive leadership for the legal affairs and government affairs functions. Mr. Parker has more than 20 years of legal and business experience and has served as a senior attorney and litigator in private practice and as senior in-house counsel within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and consumer goods industries. He has significant international experience, having established the legal and business infrastructures for pharmaceutical operations in Japan and in developing markets such as Latin America, Eastern Europe and Southeastern Asia.

Mr. Parker spent 10 years at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (now Pfizer) where he most recently served as senior vice president and chief counsel. In that role, he led a large, multinational group responsible for providing legal counsel worldwide for the $18 billion global biopharmaceuticals business. Earlier in his career Mr. Parker was a partner at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP. Mr. Parker holds a B.A. in Economics from Penn State University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Mr. Parker serves on the board of directors, American Arbitration Association, and the board of trustees for the Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. and on the advisory board of the Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia.
