Learn about how the Summer Theory Institute (STI) can help you get the most out of your summer public-interest job!
Meet with the facilitators and past participants in STI to hear about the benefits of discussing social theory with other students and practitioners working in the public interest. STI is a weekly summer workshop for HLS students with public interest internships in New York City. In weekly meetings facilitated by two HLS alums and public interest practitioners, fellows will discuss works of social and critical theory as they relate to fellows’ internships. STI provides an opportunity for HLS students to reflect critically on their internships, to think about the role of social theory in legal practice, and to connect with and learn from other public-interest-minded students and alumni.
STI fellows will receive a stipend in recognition of their participation. Applications are due by April 6, 2012. Learn More >
