July 2004 Dear Member, As
this year’s dues notice suggests, the council proposed to the annual general meeting
on 19 July that dues be increased.
The old rates have been effect since 1991, and costs have increased
substantially since then. The annual
general meeting approved the increase, and beginning in 2005, the dues will
be $65.00 for individuals and $90.00 for institutions. Please
note that these increases will take effect in 2005. The rate for 2004 remains $50.00 for individual members and
$65.00 for institutions. Yours
