Last Carrier

P ships a crate of parts from Boston to Phoenix by rail. The crate is in good shape when sent but arrives damaged. Three different rail companies, D1, D2, and D3, have handled the goods along the route of shipment. P has no way of knowing which one damaged the crate. P sues D1, D2, and D3. How should the case be resolved?
