On Tuesday we will discuss several of the hearsay exceptions found in Rule 803 and refreshing recollection.

Additional Assignment - Computer-Aided Instruction

Please organize yourselves in groups of 3 (4 max.) and perform the Francis v. Spindler and State v. Williams, I computer-video evidence exercises at the Interactive Video Project, 1 Holmes Hall, between now and Wednesday, November 17. This is an effective and painless way to learn some of the intricacies of the hearsay rule and to test your overall understanding of Evidence. The exercises can be done in one sitting or in two. You can sign up for time slots at the workstations in advance. The workstations are open from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. This is a required exercise and attendance will be taken. Please get your exercises done early to avoid the post-fly-out-week rush!
