On Tuesday we will discuss complete our discussion of the hearsay exceptions found in Rules
803 and 804 and refreshing recollection.
For Wednesday, November 10, please read:
On Wednesday we will discuss the application of the Confrontation Clause of the United States Constitution to hearsay evidence. The reading for Wednesday is voluminous, but the cases are not particularly difficult. As you read these cases, keep in mind the different Confrontation Clause meanings suggested in the commentary at the top of the listed references. (When you fly out during the week of November 2-6, you might want to bring your Evidence casebooks or your laptop computer with you...).
