- Over the last year, there has been a wave of evictions resulting from the nationwide spike in foreclosure rates that has also hit the Boston area hard. Foreclosures on multi-family buildings have led to wholesale evictions of low-income tenants which have exacerbated the lack of affordable housing problem in Boston. [Tue, 11 Sep 2007]
