Jobs/Fellowships: Human Rights Program Hiring Research Fellows for the Study of National Human Rights Institutions
The Human Rights Program (HRP) announces the establishment of up to two research and writing fellowships for the study of National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs). These fellowships are designed for current Harvard Law Students (J.D.s, LL.M.s, and S.J.D.s) to research and write on various aspects of NHRIs. This research and writing will be used to support HRP's ongoing academic and clinical initiatives, and used to create backgrounders, assessment tools, briefing papers, as well as scholarly publications.
Topics may include investigating NHRIs' work on national security, economic and social rights, and the administration of justice. Conceptual work on NHRIs as well as more applied work (e.g. development of NHRI jurisprudence database) may also be possible activities.
The Fellowship carries a stipend of up to $15.00 per hour for work. Interested candidates should send a cover letter, CV, copy of transcript, and two references as soon as possible to:
