Course Announcements: FOOD AND DRUG LAW, WINTER TERM (HUTT)
The assignment for the first day of class is Chapter 1 (pp. 1-27) of Hutt, Merrill, and Grossman. Please also page through the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act of 1938 in the Statutory Supplement, or online on the FDA website, in order to obtain a preliminary understanding of the structure of the statute. All students are required to bring a copy of their resume the first day of class. Please annote your resume with any personal information relating to any involvement, however tangential, with FDA-regulated products or industires, with related scientific or other disciplines (e.g., college courses), and with hobblies, summer jobs, or other interests. I would like to know where you grew up and the occupations of your parents.
The required course paper may be combined with the third year written work requirement. This applies to students who take the course as a 2L or a 3L. Students who know that they wish to choose this option should inform Peter Barton Hutt at phutt@cov.com
