Welcome 1Ls:

Congratulations on your admission to Harvard Law School. AFA is the only organization dedicated to serving the interests of students associated with the armed forces. Our membership has included students with prior military experience, future JAG officers, active-duty military, reservists, and others with an interest in the military.

We mainly plan social events, often with similar student organizations at the Kennedy School or other area law schools. We hope to provide some of the camaraderie that helps make military service so rewarding. AFA is also available to answer questions for students interested in becoming a military lawyer.

We look forward to meeting you at the student organization fair in the fall.
