The Alliance of Independent Feminists (AIF) is a Harvard Law School organization founded in 2000 to promote discussion of all issues affecting women. The group challenges the notion that there is a universal women's opinion and encourages the exploration of views alternative to those of traditional feminist ideology. The AIF is not affiliated with any political party and its members' views span the ideological spectrum. To learn more about the organization, visit www.law.harvard.edu/studorgs/aif. The generous sponsorship of the Independent Women's Forum, the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute, the Intercollegiate Studies Institute and the Young America's Foundation, as well as the co-sponsorship of the Harvard Law School Women's Law Association, has helped make this event possible.
