The Justicia en Diversidad Foundation ("JDF" or "JD Foundation") is an organization of Latino students and alumni of Harvard Law School dedicated to encouraging young Latina/os to pursue a legal career. As beneficiaries of the privilege of attending Harvard Law School, we seek to use our position to give back to our community, to expand opportunities for young Latina/os in need, and to help remedy the underrepresentation of Latinos in the legal profession. It is also the goal of JDF to improve communication and interaction between current Harvard Law School Alianza students and HLS graduates, and the JDF invites all Latino students and alumni of Harvard Law School to join in our efforts. The JDF Scholarship and Mentorship Program is designed to assist graduating high school students who are interested in the law to attend college, creating the foundation for a successful future career in law. To apply for the JDF Scholarship Program, please carefully read the Scholarship Instructions, fill out the Application Form, and provide all required materials. All applications for the JDF Scholarship Program must be postmarked by February 1, 2008 and sent to: La Alianza
