California Club

The HL California Club is an organization that brings together past, present, and future Californians at the Law School. Our mission: to provide a venue for students to form enduring networks of future alumni, discuss the pros and cons of working for various employers and taking different career paths, and socialize with others who want to head west. An important aspect of this mission is emphasizing the quality of the legal work being done on the west coast.

Under last year's dynamic board, the HL California Club has flourished. Membership now approaches nearly 300 students, and our alumni network continues to grow. We will continue holding monthly events throughout the school year, including a Firm Night that gives students the opportunity to compare California internship options, firm presentations, a California wine-tasting experience, get-togethers based around sporting events, and many more. These activities serve to reinforce our members' ties to California, and also to introduce the Harvard Law School community to the wonderful opportunities to live and work in the great state of California.
