CHALSA sponsors a wide variety of cultural, academic and social activities. We’ve planned a variety of events throughout the school year, including:
  • HLS Asian Pacific American Pro Bono Service Program: community service outreach program providing pro bono legal services to the local Chinatown and Asian American communities, and allowing students to fulfill their HLS Pro Bono Requirement
  • 2004 Thomas Tang National Moot Court Competition
  • Chinese New Year Banquet / Dance
  • CHALSA chill nights: get-togethers to hang out and indulge in typical Chinese activities: gambling, playing games, watching Hong Kong flicks, eating good food, drinking boba
  • Social outings: karaoke, clubs, trip to see Yao Ming take on the Boston Celtics
  • Tournaments: Big 2, Mah Jong and Poker tournaments
  • Academic / Professional Panels: panels with int'l firms
