Dear
Students,
Welcome
to the Couples Association of Harvard Law School! The Harvard Law Couples Association (HCLA)
is a social organization for students, their partners and/or their children. Our organization
offers many activities over the course of the year to encourage social interaction and provide
support for those students who have come to Harvard with partners or families. HLCA has enhanced
the law school experience for hundreds of students and non-student partners.
Some of the HLCA activities we have had in the past include apple picking trips,
holiday dinner parties, Celtics games, trips to Boston Theatre, and picnics. For
those with children, we have a Children's Club that Coordinates monthly play groups
in addition to hosting a Halloween party and a spring egg hunt. Our Women's Group
holds activities such as gourmet dessert parties, chick flick nights, dinners out,
white elephant holiday parties and more. We have even more exciting activities planned
for this upcoming year and hope that you will be able to attend!
Please join us on Saturday, September 15th for our annual Welcome
Picnic from 5-7 p.m. on Holmes field (in front of the library) (rain location: Hark South).
Food will be provided and there will be entertainment for people of all ages. We
will also provide information regarding the activities that we have planned in the fall.
If you would like to attend the picnic, please RSVP to Melissa
at hlthsci302@yahoo.com or
602-281-0579 by September 8th. I look forward to meeting you on September 15th.
Sincerely,
Melissa Simon
