AUDITIONS FOR "KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN "

Dear incoming 1Ls,
Welcome to HLS! As you will soon find out, many lawyers are really actors at heart. The HLS Drama Society provides a creative outlet for everyone who feels stifled by living and breathing law 24 hours a day (and trust me, at some point, you will!)
The Drama Society puts on two shows a year: a fall show, which in recent years has been a musical, and the spring Parody. The fall show generally has a small cast (20 or fewer), while the Parody involves about 40 cast members as well as a full tech crew. The Parody is a student-written musical, which, as the title implies, pokes fun at HLS and at current political and legal events.
Early in the school year, the Drama Society will be hosting a happy hour - the first of many social events we hold throughout the year - where you can talk to current members about acting, singing, dance, stage crew, writing, or any other aspect of the organization that interests you.
Additionally, the Drama Society will hold auditions for the fall musical, “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” early in the semester - dates TBA. Applications to write for the Parody will also be accepted in the fall - more details will be available at the happy hour. If you have any questions, please email me at pmueller@law.harvard.edu.
