.:. Mission .:.The Mission of the Harvard Law School Drama Society is to stimulate the imagination and provide an outlet for creative expression on campus. The Drama Society typically produces a musical in the fall, as well as the annual HLS Parody in the spring. As the largest event of the year, the Parody draws an audience of about three thousand students, faculty members, and visitors, and involves a cast and crew made up of over seventy students. Above all, the Drama Society tries not to take itself too seriously. In our rehearsals, in our performances, and in our many social events, students are encouraged--if not required--to let down their guard and take a break from exams and interviews. Instead, they enjoy the process of dedicating themselves to productions that allow them to use their talent to entertain an audience and form long-lasting friendships in the process. |
