
Dan Sullivan
Dan Sullivan is a native of the Garden State and attended Regis High School in New York City. He is a magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Williams College where he majored in History. Since graduating from college in 2001, he has worked as an investment banking analyst, a public policy researcher, and a legislative aide to a U.S. Congressman. In 2004, he was a Lincoln Fellow at the Claremont Institute. At HLS, Dan serves as an Executive Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy. He loves the Yankees and all things Irish.

Coral Shaw
Coral Shaw received her B.S. summa cum laude from Hillsdale College where she majored in math and minored in chemistry. At HLS, Coral is an executive editor for the Journal of Law & Public Policy and executive vice president of the Alliance of Independent Feminists. Upon graduation Coral will be moving to Fairbanks, Alaska to clerk on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals for Judge Andrew Kleinfeld. Born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan, Coral enjoys knitting, polka dancing, cooking, baking, camping, fishing, and wedding planning.

Brett Talley is a native of Jasper, Alabama. Brett graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama in 2004 with a degree in Philosophy and History. In addition to the Federalist Society, Brett is a 2L class representative to the Law School Council and a senior editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. Brett spends his fall watching Alabama football and the rest of the year waiting for the the start of the season.
Paul Mezzina
Paul Mezzina is a native of Long Island and a 2005 graduate of Harvard College. At HLS, he is an Editor for the Harvard Law Review. Paul spent last summer working at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in San Francisco. He is an avid rower, cyclist, and fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.

Nicole Valco
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Nicole graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College in 2005, where she majored in History and minored in Government. At HLS, she is a Senior Editor for the Journal of Law & Public Policy, and is also involved in the California Club, HL Central, and Big Brother/Big Sister. Last summer, she worked for the Department of Justice’s Commercial Litigation division. Nicole enjoys golf, Giants baseball, BBQs, and plans to spend every sunny afternoon on the sand volleyball courts outside of the Hark.
Megan Greer
Megan is a 2005 Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude graduate from the George Washington University, where she majored in Political Science and Criminal Justice. While Megan still claims Texas as her home, she has become a DC girl at heart. In addition to the Federalist Society, Megan is active in the Alliance of Independent Feminists and is a Senior Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. Last summer, Megan worked at Department of Justice’s Capital Case Unit.
Kevin Hinkley
Kevin Hinkley graduated summa cum laude from Niagara University, where he majored in Political Science and minored in History and Religious Studies. As an undergraduate, Kevin served as Chairman of the Niagara University College Republicans and as Treasurer of the New York College Republican State Committee. At HLS, Kevin is a Senior Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. Kevin returned home for his 1L summer to work in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York. As a native Western New Yorker, Kevin is an avid follower of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres.

Derek Lyons
From Sugar Land, Texas, Derek graduated from Duke University summa cum laude in 2004 with degrees in Political Science and Economics. After college, Derek spent a year working in Washington, D.C. as a legislative correspondent and legislative assistant for a Texas Congressman. During his 1L summer, Derek worked for Baker Botts, LLP in Houston, Texas and was thrilled to finally live in Texas again, even if it was only for the summer.

Katie Thomason
Originally from small-town Oklahoma, Katie Thomason graduated summa cum laude from Oklahoma State University, where she majored in English literature, and spent one semester studying on an exchange program in England. In addition to the Federalist Society Katie is a senior editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy, vice president of the Society for Law, Life, and Religion, the treasurer of the HLS Republicans, and holds board positions in the Women's Law Association and Alliance for Independent Feminists. Katie split her 1L summer between Crowe and Dunlevy in Tulsa, OK and the New England Legal Foundation in Boston.

Wallace DeWitt
Wallace de Witt graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Yale College in 2003, receiving the Alpheus Henry Snow Prize. After a year spent studying in Japan, he entered Harvard Law in fall of 2004. In 2005-2006 he was on leave of absence to take an M.Phil. degree in Oriental Studies at King's College, Cambridge. He spent summer 2006 with the Tokyo and Hong Kong offices of Davis Polk & Wardwell.
Matt Craig
Matt Craig attended Yale University where he majored in History and Political Science, with a concentration in International Relations. While at Yale, Matt served as Senior Editor for the Yale Free Press and actively participated in the Yale Political Union, among other things. At HLS, Matt is also a Senior Editor for the Journal of Law & Public Policy and Treasurer of the Multiracial Law Students Association and the Native American Law Students Association. He spent the 2006 summer as a Summer Associate at Hogan & Hartson in Washington, D.C. Matt is a native Philadelphian and die-hard Flyers fan.

Michael Sevi
Michael Sevi attended Dartmouth College, where he majored in History, minored in Government, and graduated summa cum laude in 2002. He is the business manager of the Journal of Law and Public Policy and the President of HLS’s student government, the Law School Council. Prior to coming to Harvard, Michael spent a year studying theology in Jerusalem, Israel.
Rob Porter
Rob Porter received an A.B. summa cum laude from Harvard College where he concentrated in Government. Between college and law school he spent three years studying political philosophy at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar. In addition to the Federalist Society, Rob is a Managing Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy and Vice President (Political) of the HLS Republicans. During 1L summer he worked at Kirkland & Ellis in Washington, DC.

Dani Ungar
Daniel grew up in Michigan, and although he has been on the East Coast for over twelve years, he still calls pop "pop." He spent his sophomore and junior years of college in Jerusalem, Israel, and after majoring in Talmudic Law, Daniel went on to grad school at the Johns Hopkins University, where he received his M.S. in Computer Science. A techie at heart, Daniel worked for a year at the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a patent examiner for computer security and cryptographic inventions. Daniel spent his 1L summer working at the Department of Defense on counterintelligence reform. Daniel shortens his name to Dani yet pronounces it Donny, and is completely unapologetic about that.

Dan Gomez
Dan Gomez is from Wayne, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. He received his B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in History and Economics and rooted for the world's greatest football team, the Philadelphia Eagles. At Penn, Daniel was the Chairman of the College Republicans and appeared as a political pundit on the Fox News Channel. In his summer after 1L year, Daniel worked at the White House Office of Management and Budget in their General Counsel's Office. This year, Daniel will be a 2L representative on the Law School Council.

John Lobato
Born and raised on the mean streets of Orange County, California, John Lobato graduated magna cum laude from the University of California at San Diego with a degree in American Politics, where he spent four years surfing and starting every organization he could think of. He spent the summer of 2005 working for the US Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of California, taking advantage of being back in the sun. In addition to the Federalist Society, John is also the founder of the Harvard Audiophiles, a Senior Editor on the Journal of Law and Public Policy, a political junkie, and a huge fan of Montrose Spa sandwiches.
Matt Merkle
An Ohioan, Matt Merkle graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Vanderbilt University in 2003. Matt worked in the government and in the defense industry in Washington, D.C. after college where he met his wife, Katherine. He enjoys intramural sports, working as a senior editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy, and trivia nights at the Forest Cafe.
Sheena Wiesner
Originally from New Berlin, WI, Sheena graduated cum laude from Duke University in 2005 with a major in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and a minor in Economics. She was president of the mechanical engineering honor society, Pi Tau Sigma, and was actively involved in Kappa Kappa Gamma. At HLS, Sheena is a senior editor on the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy and co-alumni chair for the HLS GOP. She spent the 2005 summer working at Foley & Lardner LLP in Milwaukee.

Christina Henk
Originally from Algonquin, Illinois, Christina graduated summa cum laude from Illinois State University with a major in Politics and Government. While at ISU, she was a member of a nationally ranked mock trial team, and participated on the Model United Nations Team. At HLS, Christina also serves as the President of the Women’s Law Association. During the summer months, you can find Christina at Wrigley Field cheering the Cubs onto victory… well, there’s always next year!

Mike Hawrylchak
Mike grew up near Albany, NY and came to Cambridge to study engineering at MIT. After graduating in 2000, he spent the next five years working for startup companies in the Boston area before leaving the high tech world for law school. Mike spent the 2006 summer at the Institute for Justice in Washington, DC. Outside of school, he enjoys playing rugby and spending time with his wife Amy.
Brian Callanan
A New Jersey native, Brian Callanan graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Claremont McKenna College, where he concentrated in political philosophy. Prior to law school, he worked as speechwriter for a U.S. Senator and 2004 spokesman for the New Jersey Republican Party in scenic Trenton. After his 1L year, Brian was a summer associate at Cooper & Kirk in Washington, DC.

James Rogers
James Rogers graduated from Brigham Young University with University Honors in 2005, majoring in International Studies with a double minor in Latin American Studies and Business. During college he took time off and lived in Campinas, Brazil for two years. At HLS, James is a Senior Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. Last summer, he interned in the general counsel’s office for Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.

Sarah Isgur
Hailing from the great state of Texas, Sarah graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in history and political science. During college, Sarah completed her thesis at the London School of Economics on the Americanization of British campaign communication. After serving as a press secretary on Capitol Hill, Sarah became Deputy Director of Congressional Communication for the Federal Aviation Administration. Sarah is an active member of the HLS Republicans, a senior editor for the Journal of Law & Public Policy, and music director for the 2007 Law School Parody.

Ken Grose
Ken Grose graduated summa cum laude with his B.S. in Business from Miami University in 2005, majoring in both Economics and Finance. At Miami, Ken captained a Mock Trial squad to the Mideast Regional Championship. He also won Outstanding Student Paper at the annual conference of the Academy of Legal Studies in Business for his article on punitive damages, which was later published in the organization's National Proceedings. Currently, Ken serves as a Senior Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy and is a Section Leader for a Harvard undergraduate economics class. He returned to Ohio for the summer of 2006, working as a summer associate for Jones Day in Cleveland.

Jenn Vosko
Jennifer Vosko is a 2004 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Princeton University, where she majored in The Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy and International Affairs. She was Chairman of the Board and a founding member of the Princeton Law forum, and was actively involved in Kappa Alpha Theta and a member of the University Cottage Club. She devoted much energy to sports such as running, skiing and sailing. At HLS, Jennifer is a TA for first year lawyering, and an executive editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. She spent the 2005 summer working at the Department of Justice. During the 2006 summer, she worked as a summer associate at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, LLP and Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, both in Washington D.C.

Kevin Parker
Kevin graduated cum laude from Duke University with a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. While at Duke he was President and Chairman of the Board of the Duke University Union, actively involved in Alpha Epsilon Pi, and built robots. At HLS, Kevin is also a Vice President of the HLS Republicans and a senior editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. He spent the 2006 summer working in the General Counsel's Office at the Department of Defense. Although born and raised in Barrington, Illinois, he now hails from Scottsdale, Arizona.
