Student Organization Funding Application for the 2008-2009 Academic Year
The Student Funding Board will be reviewing applications for organizations interested in receiving funding for use during the 2007-2008 academic year. All organizations interested in applying for funding must submit the following information:
- Organizational Profile - This document (preferable a Word document) will give the Student Funding Board a closer look at the underlying purpose of each organization. The document must contain the following:
- Name of your organization
- Your organization’s current budget status including current year's allocation and year-to-date expenses
- Statement of purpose:
- Brief statement of organization’s goals; mission of the organization
- Who or what the organization represents
- How the organization benefits the students/community at HLS
- Uniform Organizational Budget - Using this Excel template, organizations must list their projected expenses for the upcoming academic year.
- A good resource that will help you formulate an accurate budget is the Budget Resource Page. The purpose of this page is to give information to assist you with projecting expenses.
- Budget Explanation - Provide an in-depth explanation of the projected expenses and lend insight into how the various budgetary items relate to the overall mission of the organization. Included should be a clear statement of your reasons for applying for funding. Please remember that the goal of this section is quality of explanation, not quantity. NOTE: The Budget Explanation information can be included in the fields of the Uniform Organizational Budget spreadsheet or can be submitted as an additional Word document. No application will be reviewed for any organization that has not submitted a Mid-Year Activity Report.
- Please e-mail all application materials to William Howell.
- Final funding decisions will be e-mailed Monday, April 28, 2008.
Deadline for Submitting Information is Friday, March 21, 2008 at 1:00pm
