The HLS Republicans aim to provide a social community for moderate and conservative Republicans and to represent the ideals of the Republican Party on the HLS campus. We bring speakers to campus, provide a forum for the discussion of current events, and assist our members in becoming active in local and national politics. Each spring, the HLS Republicans organize a trip to meet with Republican officeholders and administration officials in Washington, DC. Past trips have included sessions with Supreme Court Justices, prominent members of Congress, agency heads, and presidential appointees. During election years we play an active role in local and national campaigns, from campaign activities to Election Day poll watching.
