Who We Are
The HLS Republicans aim to provide a social community for moderate and conservative Republicans, represent the ideals of the Republican Party on the HLS campus, provide a forum for the discussion of current events and assist our members in becoming active in local and national politics.

Republican Politics
The HLS Republicans serve as a link to national and local politics. Each Spring we organize a trip to meet with Republican officeholders and administration officials in Washington, DC. Past trips have included sessions with Supreme Court Justices, prominent members of Congress, agency heads and presidential appointees.

We also sponsor brown bag lunches with Republican leaders and take part in numerous events at the Kennedy School of Government. During election years we play an active role in local and national campaigns, from campaign activities to Election Day pollwatching.

Community Service
We sponsor several community service events, including a Red Cross blood drive each semester, HLCentral’s SpringFest and campus canned food drives.

Social Events
We throw an Election Night Victory party each presidential and midterm election. Our Victory 2002 party drew more than 150 happy Republicans to the Hark for election returns, a trivia contest, and plentiful food and drink.
