Supporting the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau gives you the opportunity to contribute to a dedicated and dynamic community of student attorneys committed to providing legal services those who would otherwise have no access to quality legal representation. Your support enables the Bureau to provide access to justice to thousands of poor people who otherwise would have nowhere else to turn for their legal troubles: when domestic violence endangers the safety of women and children, when unscrupulous landlords threaten to evict families out of their homes, or when the disabled, the unemployed, or military veterans there are wrongfully denied access to their benefits.

Although we receive funding from Harvard Law School, we depend on the contributions from alumni, law firms, and the general public to meet our operation costs, training expenses, and litigation needs. The Bureau uses every tool available to assist its clients, including direct representation, systemic or impact litigation, referrals, and information resources. The reality is that out resource constraints mean that we are unable to provide legal services to more than half of those who come to us. Your support is more critical now than ever.
