We are the Harvard NALSA
The Harvard NALSA is an Harvard Law School student-run organization dedicated to:
- promoting campus discourse on Federal Indian and tribal law topics;
- supporting student and faculty inquiry into these areas of law;
- fostering a corps of well-informed future Federal Indian and tribal lawyers;
- strengthening the HLS Indian and tribal law program;
- and recruiting Native students to HLS.
A dedicated and active NALSA chapter, the Harvard NALSA hosts numerous law school functions, participates in National NALSA events, and hosts a number of social events.
Recent events include a panel on "Employment Opportunities in Indian Country" and a symposium on "Tribal Justice: The Supreme Court and the Future of Federal Indian Law".
HLS NALSA members also participate in the National NALSA Writing Competition and attend the Annual Federal Bar Indian Law Conference. In the past, chapter members have won first place in the NNALSA Writing Competition.
