Native Recruitment
Harvard hopes to increase the national presence specifically attributable to its Native students and alumni. The Law School thus actively seeks more Native applicants and continues to develop academic opportunities in the fields of Indian and tribal law. However, we miss out on many great Native applicants because they simply don’t apply. Keep our applicant pool strong by applying.
Admission to Harvard Law School is competitive, but while your LSAT score and GPA are important, our Admissions Committee takes your entire application into consideration. Hence, factors like your personal background and diverse life experience are very important. Your personal statement is a great opportunity to make yourself stand out by elaborating on unique abilities, accomplishments, goals, and experiences. Community involvement, campus activities, political experiences, family history, and life experiences can illustrate your personal drive and distinctiveness.
Financial considerations should not prevent you from applying to Harvard Law School. Tuition at Harvard is comparable to other private law schools and financial aid is readily available according to your individual needs. Harvard also has a Low Income Protection Plan designed to forgive student loans for those who choose relatively low-paying jobs upon graduation.
