In Vino Veritas: The Harvard Law School Food and Wine Society

Our purpose is to introduce interested members of the Harvard Law School community to the exciting world of wine at formal tastings, informal blind tasting workshops, and tasting dinners at area restaurants. At our formal tastings, we will invite producers, importers, and local wine merchants to acquaint our members with the wines of a particular region and/or house. Members will learn to distinguish between grape varieties, regional variations, and winemaking processes at our informal blind tastings. Success at recognizing characteristics comes quickly once one learns the basic techniques, and as members' familiarity increases, so too will enjoyment. The tasting dinners will be an opportunity for members to learn how to pair food with wine, as well as a time for enjoying the pleasure that fine food, wine and conversation bring.
